Conversation with Last Newspaper Hawker of Paris
The Alliance française d’Islamabad is delighted to welcome Ali Akbar, the last newspaper hawker of Paris and of France, for a special meet-and-greet where he will share his life story, his journey and his book.
Recently appointed Knight of the Ordre national du Mérite by President Emmanuel Macron, Ali Akbar has been selling newspapers in the streets of Saint-Germain-des-Prés since 1973. A remarkable life, told first-hand.
The event will take place in French, English and Urdu.
