Figure, Form & Field – Art Exhibition

Gallery 6 is pleased to present “Figure, Form & Field”, a group exhibition featuring nine contemporary Pakistani artists.

A figure is never simply a body. It can conceal, transform, carry memory, embody identity, or dissolve into the world around it. In “Figure, Form & Field”, nine artists approach the figure in distinct ways—through the human body, animal symbolism, constructed spaces, personal histories, and imagined worlds—exploring questions of identity, belonging, vulnerability, longing, and resilience.

Across these varied practices, the figure is constantly shifting: sometimes present, sometimes obscured, and sometimes disappearing into its surroundings. Yet even when the figure recedes, something of it remains.
