Quiet Landscapes, Enduring Legacy — Paintings by Late Professor Abida Ehsan

You are cordially invited to “Quiet Landscapes, Enduring Legacy,” a posthumous exhibition of paintings by Late Professor Abida Ehsan. A life devoted to art and education.

Born in pre-Partition Pakistan, Professor Abida Ehsan chose painting over convention, studying Fine Arts at Punjab University under Anna Molka Ahmed. In 1964, she founded the first Fine Arts Department in Rawalpindi at Government College for Women, opening doors for generations of young women.

This posthumous exhibition brings together works from across her artistic journey, celebrating a pioneering artist, educator, and institution-builder whose legacy endures.
