“Reclaiming Space” – Contemporary Art & Photography Exhibition at 8B2 Gallery, Islamabad

“This exhibition explores women’s freedom to be seen,” says curator Zareen Khan. “Both artists bring distinct yet complementary perspectives, using different mediums to express layered and powerful stories through their work.”
Fatima Hamid, founder and owner of 8B2 Gallery, adds:

The opening reception will feature a live dance performance by Punjrush on May 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm onwards.
Reclaiming Space will be open to the public from May 9 to May 18, 2026, with daily visiting hours from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
