Shorts Evening | Film Screening
Pakistan Film Society invites you to a curated Shorts Evening — an intimate gathering celebrating award-winning Pakistani cinema and meaningful conversations with filmmakers.
The evening will feature screenings of “How to kill your Hunger” is a critically acclaimed 2024–2025 Pakistani short film directed and written by Mehroz Amin. The story follows a struggling middle-aged man living off leftovers. “Time After Time” by Tabish Habib, a moving reflection on memory, time, and human connection, and “On the Mountain” by Anya Raza, a powerful story following an Afghan woman forced to make an impossible choice between the life she once knew and the safety of those she loves.
Following the screenings, join us for an engaging conversation with the filmmakers as they discuss their creative journeys, inspirations, and the stories behind their films.
