Satrang Gallery is delighted to invite you to the opening of ذِکْر – Zikr: A solo exhibition by Qasim Bugti.
This exhibition explores calligraphy and miniature painting as interconnected practices rooted in discipline, spirituality, and quiet reflection. Much like zikr, the meditative act of remembrance through repetition, the recurring lines and words in these works create an embodied rhythm.
Inspired by Professor Mirza Ghulam Rasool Azhar’s poetry, the exhibition uses repetition as a spiritual rhythm of remembrance, rendered in Khat-e-Nastaliq to present language as both image and prayer, inviting stillness and contemplation
