Thursday, April 24, 2025 On the occasion of the visit of the Tunisian delegation from the University of Zaitouna, representing Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Bouazizi, President of the University of Zitouna and Dr. Abdul Qadir Al-Nafati, Director of the Institute of Asul-Din, the University of Zaytouna to Islamabad, the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Pakistan organized a reception at the Embassy headquarters in honor of the members of the Tunisian Delegation.
Reception ceremony was attended by H.E Ambassador Ahmad Ali Sirohi, Director General Africa Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan and Mr. Muhammad Zia ul Haq Director General Islamic Research Centre Islamabad and a number of Presidents of Pakistani Universities.
On the margin of the participation of the members of the Tunisian delegation in the work of the International Seminar on the Prophet’s Bio, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Zaitouna University and the International Islamic University Islamabad and Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Bazazizi was awarded the Honorary Doctorate Degree to the President of Zaitouna Univeristy of the International Islamic University, Islamabad.
On the occasion of the visit of the Tunisian delegation from Ez-Zitouna University, represented by Dr. Abdellatif Bouazizi, President of Ez-Zitouna University, and Dr. Abdelkader Nafati, Director of the Institute of Theology, to Islamabad, the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Pakistan organized a reception at the embassy in honor of the Tunisian delegation.
The reception was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Ahmed Ali Sirohi, Director General for Africa at the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Director General of the Islamic Research Center in Islamabad, and several heads of Pakistani academic institutions.
On the sidelines of the Tunisian delegation’s participation in the international symposium on the Prophet’s Sirah, , a memorandum of understanding was signed between Ez-Zitouna University and the International Islamic University in Islamabad, and an honorary PHD was awarded to Dr. Abdellatif Bouazizi, President of Ez-Zitouna University, from the International Islamic University in Islamabad.
