TheBlackHole presents Margallah Film Workshop, an evening with acclaimed Pakistani-American documentary filmmaker Mara Ahmed, whose films explore identity, history, racism, representation, memory, and the complex realities of Pakistan and its diaspora.

Known for ‘The Muslims I Know,’ ‘Pakistan One on One,’ ‘Return to Sender,’ ‘A Thin Wall,’ and ‘The Injured Body’ Mara brings her experience as a filmmaker to a workshop on the art and practice of documentary filmmaking.

Whether you are an aspiring filmmaker, a passionate storyteller, a film student, or simply curious about how powerful films are made, join us for an evening of ideas, stories, and cinematic exploration.
